“Bumps and Bruises was started by Manny Cabrera and Pedro Tuma. Two new young dads who quickly realized like most new parents do, that there is not a lot of cool stuff for little boys in stores. Even after shopping the higher end boutiques, they still found a void in the kids market targeting parents from their own generation. Having grown up with hip-hop and street wear as their influences, they’ve always imagined dressing their kids in clothing that had the same aesthetic and sensibility of the brands that they as adults admire. Having experience in designing t-shirts for urban-wear companies for the last 5 years, Manny and Pedro decided to take action into their own hands and create the shirts that they would love to see their own kids in.”
