Giveaway: Monday is One Day Children’s Book, 3 Winners!

I love to read and I’m happy that I have passed my love of reading on to Hayden. He loves to read as much as he can and he is always asking for books with him in bed.

I’m always eager to expose him to new books so I was happy when Scholastic (a company I grew up with and adore!) sent me the book Monday is One Day.

Monday is One Day was written by Arthur Levine. He started writing the book when staying home with his infant son. As any working parent can relate, he started thinking about how he would have to go back to work and miss the time with his son. An author and children’s book editor for 25 years, Arthur Levine wrote this book as a love letter to his son.

From a working parent to a child, Monday is One Day counts the days of the week and how each day is a special time to spend together.

Monday is one day, Tuesday is blue shoes day and Wednesday is halfway day. The week rolls by until we get to Saturday and Sunday when parent and child can come together and celebrate!

 

Monday is One Day is the perfect book for a child to read with their parents. I love the rhythm of the book and Hayden loved repeating with me and looking at the illustrations.

Hayden’s favorite day is Sunday (and mine too!). He always asks for a kiss and a cuddle and to jump in the puddles!

    I want to win this book for a friends son. His name is Cash and he stays home with his disabled Dad while Mom works full time. I think this book willl be terrific with the father and son bonding as they feel out of place as the only son and Daddy among the Mommies at playgroups.
