Review: Lady and the Tramp Blu-Ray Combo Pack

I love being able to show the classic Disney movies to my son, so when I heard that Lady and the Tramp was being released in a 3-DISC BLU-RAY COMBO PACK WITH DVD AND DIGITAL COPY, I was so excited!

A classic love story unfolds in the best Disney tradition as a lovely young pedigreed cocker spaniel named Lady, who lives a pampered life, finds herself falling romantically for Tramp, an amorous street-smart pooch without prospects. Although they have fun together on several dates, including a sentimental spaghetti dinner by moonlight at Tony’s restaurant, their relationship is strained not only by Lady’s loyalty to her human family and their newborn baby, but by Tramp’s devil-may-care attitude that eventually gets Lady in trouble and tossed into the dog pound. However, good-hearted Tramp redeems himself by saving the baby from potential harm and thus wins Lady’s love and the affection of her human family.

Some of my favorite features include:

- “Diane Disney Miller: Remembering Dad”: I loved being able to hear from Walt’s daughter. We even get to see images of their apartment that was built in Disneyland.

- “Lady’s Pedigree: The Making of Lady and the Tramp”: This is an hour long documentary that talks about Walt’s early life and how it inspired him to make this film. My husband and I especially enjoyed this since we are only about 3 hours away from Walt’s hometown. We’d love to make a trip there!

Disney does an amazing job at restoring their films and bringing crisp clarity to video and audio. Make sure to bring home this classic for you and your family to enjoy!
