Fall is definitely here and one of my favorite Holidays is approaching – Thanksgiving! I love spending time with my family, but I also love the food! One of my favorite desserts for Thanksgiving is Pumpkin Pie! I have to admit though, I’ve been craving it since early last month!

Ingredients

  • 1 Can of Pumpkin Puree
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • ¾ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 -9 inch unbaked pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Mix pumpkin, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves until well combined.
  3. Add eggs, evaporated milk, and heavy cream. Mix everything until completely smooth.
  4. Pour pie filling into an unbaked deep dish pie shell.
  5. Bake the pie for 15 minutes then reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees. Bake for an additional 50-55 minutes until the center of the pie is not loose.
  6. Chill it in the refrigerator before serving.
  7. Serve with whipped cream!

Enjoy! What is your favorite Thanksgiving dessert?
