Introducing the Delta In2ition Showerhead!

We are so excited to announce that we are a Delta Faucet Brand Ambassador! Delta is a well known high quality brand with everything from bathroom faucets, bathtub drains, toilets, shower heads, but even soap dispenser and other bathroom accessories. They are available in a collection to fit any decorating style!

I’m really happy that we are going to be able to replace the old “motel type” shower head in our bathroom for a fabulous new Delta 58472 In2ition Two in One Arm Mounted Shower head! This will be perfect for the decor of our bathroom, but it will class the room up a little!

Why is this shower head so fantastic? It’s a dual showerhead: a showerhead and handheld shower all in one. It has four settings so you can individualize the flow you would like. I am also very excited about the long hose too. We have three small children and some days, they come in from playing and you just need to hose them down! This showerhead is also perfect for that too! It will reach across the shower to get even the most reluctant muddy child! This would also come in handy when washing the far corners of the shower.

Another thing I love about this Delta In2ition showerhead is that it has a powerful magnet to lock it in place at the fixture. No dodging a falling showerhead!

Fisher Price has recognized how much children love Disney Junior’s Octonauts and have released a collection of toys available at Toys R Us aimed for preschoolers!

If you don’t know who the Octonauts are, you are missing out! The Octonauts airs on Disney Junior and is a team of eight underwater heroes led by Captain Barnacles! They explore the ocean, rescue creatures who need help and protect their habitats!

As an Octonauts ambassador, we recently received two of the toys from the Octonauts collection and it did not disappoint  My son absolutely loves them and plays with them every day.

The Octopod is the Octonauts homebase and designed to look like an Octopus! This fun playset includes everything you need to recreate your favorite Octonauts episode!

Hayden absolutely loved the Octopod and spends the majority of his time playing with it. He recently had a friend over who actually gasped when he saw it and they had so much fun playing with it. It’s big enough that more than one child can have fun exploring and rescuing sea creatures in need.

The only time I was able to get them away from the Octonauts toys during their play date was to actually put Octonauts on the TV!

The GUP-A Mission Vehicle is also a big favorite in our household! The vehicle comes with Captain Barnacles and with this, you can rescue the angler fish it comes with, along with three rescue tools!

Hayden loved when he discovered that you could crank the propeller in the back and off it went on our floors! It has some really good speed too! And for even more fun, you can bring the GUP-A Mission Vehicle in the bath with you! Once in the water, the Gup A’s headlights and antenna will change color just like in the show! Best of all, the pieces all store inside the vehicle so they don’t get scattered and lost (like so many other toys do!).

We are such big fans of the Octonauts show and I’m so excited to see that there is this collection of toys available. They really let my son use his imagination and he has gotten lost in the toys for hours as he creates adventures with the Octonauts crew.

They offer up more vehicles and the rest of the team so you can really recreate an Octonaut adventure! We have already visited our local Toys R Us to pick up more toys to add to what we already have!

Dive into Action and Adventure with Disney Junior’s Octonauts!

In our household, Disney Junior is on pretty much all of the time. It’s been fun watching my son learn and interact with his favorite characters. I’ll never forget when we were reading a book that he picked out from the library and pointed to two animals and told me that one was an octopus and the other a squid and that they live in the ocean. When I asked him how he knew that, he proudly told me “Octonauts!”.

Octonauts is an animated television series aimed at preschoolers age 2-6 and introduces them to an underwater world filled with action and adventure! The Octonauts is a team of eight underwater heroes that  follow the mission of “Explore! Rescue! Protect” by educating children how they explore the world’s oceans, rescue the creatures who live there and protect their habitats.

 

While there are many shows out there that educate my child while he watches, there’s nothing quite like Octonauts! It’s a show that really teaches scientific concepts on a preschool level. The team explores things like navigation, simple mapping, ocean habitats and the physical and behavioral characteristics of sea creatures. Each episode also focuses on how important team work is by communicating and treating each other with respect and compassion. All of the crew bring something important to each mission – my son loves them all but Captain Barnacles Bear is his favorite!

My son loves that each episode features a different mission where the team has to work together to rescue a real aquatic creature while educating him on information about the animal. I’m still amazed that he has learned all about different underwater creatures like the octopus and giant squid and can actually tell me a little about them!

At the end of each episode, the Octonauts sum up their rescue and share information about the featured animal with the musical song “Creature Report”. I promise you just one listen and you’ll have this cute and catchy song stuck in your head!

The show is inspired by the Octonauts book series by Meomi and I love that the look of the show is so similar to the artwork in the books – the look and colors of the characters and the underwater setting is one of my favorite parts of the show!

I’ve been a long time user of Dove products and I love being able to pamper myself at home with their body washes. I’m well into my third trimester of being pregnant with twins and I love escaping to my bathroom for a long, hot shower and then coming out feeling that my skin is so soft and clean.

That”s because the Glycinate ingredient not only reduces damage to proteins during cleansing, but also creates a soap-comparable lather that rinses cleanly.

With the weather in St. Louis being so cold and dry, my skin has definitely been showing it. I’ve been using the Dove Body Washes with the new formula for a little over a month now and I can DEFINITELY tell a difference.

My skin is a lot softer, smoother and just looks a lot healthier! The body wash really provides a lot of moisture to my skin, which I appreciate. I love how the body wash lathers up so much – usually when I have a body wash that doesn’t lather up very much, I think it’s not working. That’s definitely not the case here! With the new Dove Body Wash, you can enjoy a lot of lather that gets you clean!

My husband and I have been enjoying the Dove® Deep Moisture Body Wash with NutriumMoisture, but our son is loving the smell of the go fresh® Revive Body Wash With NutriumMoisture! He loves it so much that we caught him taking it out of the shower and filling up our automatic soap dispenser by our sink with it! He claims that he loves washing his hands with it!

In just a few days, our life is going to change when we add two newborns to the family! I know things are going to get hectic, but I’m already looking forward to the times where I’ll be able to jump into the shower and enjoy some relaxing “me time” with the new Dove Body Washes!

For as long as I can remember, I have been a fan of Dove products. From lotions to deodorants to shampoo and conditioner, we use it all! When I was selected to be a Dove Mom Ambassador, I was so excited since it’s a product my family has been using for so long!

 

One of my favorite Dove products are the body washes and Dove recently has improved their formula by combining the brand’s mildest cleansers with NutriumMoisture. The new formula contains 100% natural moisturizers that skin can absorb, keeping your skin smooth and nourished!
