With twins, everything is double! Double the trouble, double the blessings and double the STUFF! If you stepped into my living room and the twins room, you would think that I’m running a daycare. It’s true that we probably don’t need all of this stuff, but it sure makes life a lot smoother!
Since we are buying double, that’s why I like shopping at Walmart. Walmart offers up deep discounts on a wide selection of the brands you love and trust at Every Day Low Prices. Best of all, each September and February, Walmart hosts an event called Every Little Step. That’s because Walmart is with you every little step of the way – from birth through all of those important milestones!
It seems like I’m always running into Walmart every week to get something for the twins as there is a new step in their life. Whether it’s bibs for starting solids, wipes for everyday messes or teething toys to help with their swollen gums, Walmart has me covered. And if it’s advice you’re looking for, Walmart’s got it! Check out their great Every Little Step page that is a resource for everything from baby feeding basics to potty training tips.
Every Little Step Event
The Every Little Step event is right now in stores and online through September 13 and online only through September 20. You’ll find top-rated baby items at great rollback prices. There are also some really exciting promotions going on during the Every Little Step event!
Fisher-Price Cribs
Moms all know and love the Fisher-Price brand! I grew up with it and I love that my kids are too. Now, they have a new nursery line available at Walmart that is stylish and versatile while providing solutions for any budget. “Just Right Height” is my favorite feature! It makes getting baby into and out of bed easier. You just adjust the height of the crib by removing part of each crib foot, up to 4” but still
keep the aesthetic look of the crib. Plus, all cribs convert to a full-sized bed with headboard and guardrail making the cribs such a great value and investment.
During the Every Little step event, each Fisher-Price crib comes with a FREE bonus Kolcraft mattress! What a deal!
Pampers Diapers
We are a HUGE fan of Pampers diapers. We have been using them from the very beginning when the hospital loaded us up with packs to bring home.
I’m excited to share some big news with you! Pampers is expanding the popular Swaddlers line up to size 5! That is great news for babies that need a bigger fit or if you um, had a stubborn toddler who wasn’t interested in potty training. They also have updated the absorbency across Swaddlers, Cruisers & Baby Dry – it’s 3x drier than a basic diaper!
If you’re like me, you may be wondering the difference between all of the different Pampers diapers! Here’s a bit more info!
– Swaddlers originally started as our newborn diapers and are the number one choice of hospitals. They are still our softest diapers. They have a wetness indicator, and that will be available all the way through size 5. They also have a mesh liner that helps keep wetness away from the skin.
– Cruisers are more of a fit benefit and they are Pampers overall best protection from a dryness benefit standpoint. Cruisers is really for that baby who is on the go, and the fit becomes so important to make sure that the things in the diaper stay in the diaper. They are designed for the active baby moving around.
– Baby Dry offers the base 12 hours of protection that any Pampers diaper offers. It is more of our value offering. They still offer 12 hours of dryness without all of the bells and whistles.
Swaddlers are our favorite diapers for when we are out and about and we love Baby Dry for overnight – no more leaks!
