This is my favorite time of year! I love to take my family on Easter egg hunts. We are from St. Louis. Egg Hunts are plentiful in the St. Louis area. It has been a tradition since I was a kid. The excitement on the kids’ faces as they collect their eggs and put them in their basket is priceless. I couldn’t wait to tell my family that we would be doing the Easter Egg Hunt at Eckert’s Belleville Farm!
My family attends Eckert’s for other events such as apple and peach picking as well as pumpkin picking. We have always walked away with unforgettable family memories.
I highly recommend the Eckert’s Belleville Egg Hunt if you are looking for an egg hunt to attend or looking for some family fun. Eckert’s definitely knows how to have family friendly events to entertain the whole family. Not only is there a traditional egg hunt, but the whole spring time feeling was evident through a variety of activities.
Despite the rain, our family enjoyed the egg hunt. Originally the egg hunt was separated by age groups, but due to the rain we went as a family. If you did not think the prizes in your egg were appropriate for your child’s age, you could exchange them.
We absolutely loved petting the chicks, bunnies and baby ducks! The kids were hesitant to hold the animals, but loved to pet them. The animals were calm and very easy to hold.
There were six face painters which made the line go very quickly. The kids had a few options to choose from, which they could get on their face or hand.
The kids enjoyed planting a seed. It came in a little bag that we put in our windowsill at home. We can’t wait to watch it grow!
Eckert’s provided a place to take your own picture with the Easter Bunny. There was another area that you could pay $7 and get a professional photo.
The bunny had a gift for each child. The kids loved the option of choosing their own gift.
Cookie Decorating! Who does not love a cookie? The kids had a blast icing their own cookie and then to top it off with sprinkles. The cookies even tasted great! My husband ate the rest of my daughter’s cookie and didn’t leave any for me.
Tractor rides were available even during the rain.
Another great opportunity for some family fun photos! I love all the options that Eckert’s offers.
Easter has always had its traditional egg hunts. The fun we had at Eckert’s leaves a lasting memory for us. Eckert’s has now become a tradition for my family. Eckert’s fun family events such as this egg hunt will always be on my list of things to do!
The next Eckert’s Belleville Egg Hunts are on March 19, 20, 25 & 26. Easter Egg Hunts take place at 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm and 2 pm each day. The cost is $12 per child. For more information call Eckert’s at (618) 233-0513.
Disclosure: I was partnered with Eckert’s Country Store & Farms on this post but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
