We have all been there. You look in your rearview mirror and see your precious little kid’s head bobbing rather disturbingly as they slip off to snooze land! Their little necks craned to the side look so uncomfortable! So, when I ran across the cute travel pillows from Lou Bugs Boutique, I was very excited! But what would my kids think of them? Would they be too big and cumbersome when used with a 5 point harness?
I was sent the Neck Travel Pillow and matching Car Seat Strap Covers in the very bright and fun DIG IT! fabric.
Adorable! On the other side of both the pillow and the reversible strap covers is a super soft bright orange minky fabric. My little 3 year old guy has adoration for anything in the construction department and he was instantly in love. And the pillow fit just perfectly!
It’s the perfect height to give adequate head support. It is not even a bit burdensome or too bulky. And he would be a definite critic on this subject as he does not tolerate anything the least bit tight fitting or awkward feeling. I don’t have to fight with this boy about giving away items of clothing that he has outgrown! The car strap covers are fantastic! Having the soft fabric on the delicate skin of his neck instead of the sharp edges of the car seat straps was wonderful. Both the travel pillow and the strap covers are extremely well made. It is very apparent that Tracy, the creative lady behind Lou Bugs, takes a lot of pride in her creations.
Tracy has a multitude of unbelievably cute and trendy patterns available. And another amazing thing? A travel neck pillow is just $7! If you would like the strap covers also, the set is $11. The neck pillows fit up to a typical child of the age of 5, but she can also custom make them in a larger size for just $1 additional. My daughter squealed with delight when she saw the Black Damask with Hot Pink Minky set:
And what else do I adore from Lou Bugs? This easy to spot On the Go Diaper Pouch (Just $7!):
Aren’t these pretty set of Burp Clothes ($13) the sweetest things?
She also has a number of delightful Hand Puppets at $5.50 each! Can you believe that?
And this happy little hanging Tooth Fairy Pillow for the bigger kids:
Tracy loves that creating for her Etsy shop allows her to stay home with her daughter who she calls “Lou Bug”. When shopping with her one day, they came across a child’s travel pillow and decided to try making one herself! After some tweaks and modifications she had her design perfected and she has now sold well over a thousand! Where would she like to be in the next five years? Tracy would like to have all of the ideas in her head actualized and listed in the Lou Bug Boutique.
One very lucky winner is going to win a Travel Neck Pillow of their choice!
