Today we had a great Guest Post from Suzy of SureBaby.com about Celebrating The Holidays With Your Toddler!
Here are some more tips on Surviving The Holidays!
1. Lists!
I love lists so much! I make them for everything and especially Christmas! Make lists for the gifts you have to buy, your budget and the food!
I have also downloaded some Christmas Apps for my iPhone that helps me organize everything for my Christmas needs!
2. Have a party?
A party you’re thinking? You are trying to get ready for Christmas! But have fun and host a Gift Wrapping or Cookie Baking Party with friends! It can be super simple and you’ll laugh, have fun and get some things done!
3. Laugh!
Holidays can be so stressful and I know I get stressed out easily! Just sit back and laugh. The holidays should be fun!

4. Take care of yourself!
The last thing you want is to be sick during the holidays! Make sure not to do too much and ask for help if you need it! Get plenty of sleep, drink some water and take your vitamins! I know if my husband starts to feel even a little bit sick he takes Airborne and it usually helps him get better faster!
5. Give back!
I always like to think of people that are in need. Do what you can whether it be giving money to the Salvation Army, volunteering your time, giving toys for Toys for Tots or cleaning out your closet to give away your old coats.
6. Shop Online!
Shopping online is so easy when you don’t want to fight the crowds by yourself or with your children! Lots of sites have even better deals in store and there is always Free Shipping codes out there to find! Make sure to Google before you buy!
7. Keep It Simple!
Especially when you have kids, it is best not to overwhelm kids with too much. The simplest toys and traditions can always be the most fun!
8. Go Green!
I know, there is so much cute wrapping paper out there and I have to admit that I have bought some. But it all gets thrown away right away. Instead, buy some super cute reusable bags that are everywhere and put the gifts in there! That way they can use them again! Or wrap with butcher paper that your kids decorate!
9. Music!
I love listening to Christmas Music and it always calms me down and gets me into the Holiday Spirit! I have downloaded a ton of songs and play them throughout the day and in the car!
10. Christmas Cards!
Finally, order your Christmas Cards early!
Do you know that you can even have Tiny Prints mail the cards for you! It saves you time from waiting in line at the Post Office!
They have so many cute cards!
I wrote this blog post while participating in the TwitterMoms and Tiny Prints blogging program, making me eligible to get a $75 Tiny Prints gift certificate! For more information on how you can participate, click here.”
