Last week was the premiere of the new reality show The private Lives of Nashville Wives on TNT. I did a recap where you can meet the six wives and catch up on what happened on the first episode. If I was hooked last week, I’m even more so thanks to last night’s episode!
My Thoughts
Last week, I really related to Erica, but I was completely hooked on Cassie this week. I have to admit, I wasn’t TOO interested in her last week but that sure changed. Cassie is married to Gary Chapman, a Christian country music artist. A lot of people think that she is a gold-digger because he is 23 years older, but she actually met him and started dating him when he had lost everything in a bad real estate deal. They have been trying to have a baby for over a year now and they finally are going through an open adoption. Sweet Eva Rose is absolutely gorgeous and I loved seeing how strong she was in this situation….I know she will be a great Mom.
Since Erica’s husband was out of town with their sons, she decided to throw a Girl’s Night Out at a local honky tonk bar. I felt really bad for her as Jenny and Ana were acting rude toward her because they weren’t having any fun. They didn’t like the place Erica picked, they didn’t like that she wouldn’t drink moonshine or dance with other men and they made that very apparent for her. If I was her, I would have been crying because I’m a lot more sensitive. Like Erica said, her idea of a girl’s night out is to talk and drink wine – that’s actually my idea too!
Later on in the show, Ana and Jenny were calling Erica a “fun sponge” and thinking of telling her how boring she is. I just don’t think you should try and change someone’s personality or what they are comfortable with. If you’re true friends, you do what that friend wants and have fun. And then the next time, YOU plan girl’s night out!
I feel like we didn’t see that much of Sarah last night. She didn’t attend the girl’s night out since she was busy preforming with her band. She is definitely motivated and hard-working – not into using the Dallas Davidson name to her advantage at all! She’s got a great voice and I look forward to hearing more from her.
It was definitely a fun-filled show and I can’t wait for next week’s episode! You can watch last night’s episode Fun Sponge over on TNT.com.
Don’t forget to tune in on Monday at 10/9pm CST on TNT!
