There’s still another week left of the 2014 Sochi Olympics and as a busy Mom of 3, I’ve had a hard time keeping up with it all! We are always on the go during the day and I usually spend the evening catching up too. Thanks to my Galaxy Note 3 though, I’m able to keep up to date with the latest from the Olympics!
There are a lot of great apps to download for the Olympics, but below are my Top 5 Android Apps to Follow the 2014 Olympics!
– Sochi 2014 Guide
The Sochi 2014 Guide is THE app you need when you want to look at an accurate schedule for all of the events. You’ll be able to take a look at Sochi through the app with an interactive map and it’s got updated news and photos also. You can even shop directly from the app and purchase everything you need to support your country!

– Sochi 2014 Results
A perfect companion to the Sochi 2014 Guide app, the Results app will let you track the winners of each event and also give you a medal count for each country. Impress your friends when you’re able to throw out updates on all of the countries and the latest medal numbers!

– Team USA
Go USA! I’m loving the Team USA app where you can check out in-depth bios of the athletes, photo galleries and video galleries. You can even customize a feed so you can follow the athletes you’re most interested in and see which events they have competed in and what the results are.
– Olympics Athletes Hub
I love everything social and I’m always on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. This is the perfect app for people that love social media. With the Olympics Athletes Hub app, you can follow the verified accounts of Olympians from all of the different countries. I love being able to follow the athletes in real time on social media!

– NBC Sports Live Extra
So many times I miss an awesome event from the Olympics because I’ve been busy with the kids. If you have a cable or satellite subscription, this is the app for you! You can watch all of the events LIVE or you can watch replays. You can even set it to get push notifications for when a certain event is starting!

I’m loving all of these apps to help keep this busy Mom updated on the 2014 Olympics! Are you using any apps to keep up?
Disclosure: As member of a pretty cool team of influencers, I received the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with line of service from Verizon. No additional compensation was provided nor did I promise positive feedback. All opinions are my own”.
I am obsessed with the Olympics, but I had no idea any of these apps even existed. I am going to download them ALL right now 😉
Thanks for sharing the Olympic apps. Great way for me to stay in touch with what is happening.
I’m huge into my iPhone, but haven’t thought about these apps at all. I like the video gallery portion.
I love to watch the Olympics but the last few weeks have been crazy with family stuff. I’ll definitely be looking to see if I can find some Olympic apps for my iPhone!
I’m an app junkie! I love surfing through the app store and downloading the free featured ones with the top ratings. I used to have an Android but switched over to the iPhone recently. I miss the Android marketplace!
Passing these onto my sister in law now! She’s loving the Olympics this year and would get a kick out of these

I am so behind on the what’s going on with the Olympics. We don’t have cable so I’m out of the loop! I need to check to see which of these apps are available for my iPhone as well – or I could just have my hubby download them on his Samsung Galaxy SIII.
Wow, there really is an app for everything these days! There are always so many events to keep up with at the Olympics, these are helpful to keep track of my favorite athletes!

Crazy how there are apps for everything! I have not really kept up with anything regarding this Olypics this year 🙁
This is great. We unplugged from cable and now only get it when we can, so these are awesome for us.
I didn’t watch anything from the Olympics this year and only caught a few highlights on the AM news. I going to check the NBC Sports app out and maybe I can watch the last week from my phone while at work.
oh, I love to stay up to date with the Olympic games!! GO TEAM USA!
There sure is an app for everything, isn’t there! I think I may be the only person ever to not be very interested in the olympics… haha.
Though that being said, I think I’m a bit of a bandwagoner hehe.. when the Olympics were here in Vancouver I was all about them! 🙂
I have an app which I used to upload a chant for the athletes. That was pretty fun!
This is a great post. I didn’t even know these existed, and I’m sure they’re very helpful!! There’s so much going on all at once that it’s hard to keep up.
I didn’t know about these apps! I love the Olympics! We’ve enjoyed them so much so far!!
Im amazed at how many apps there are out there. I love that you can get an app for every task.
I have to get a new phone soon. Mine does so little compared to the new androids.
Man, they really have an app {or multiple apps} for everything! I don’t have an Android but I may have to load some of these onto my husband’s phone.
I’m terrible, I haven’t watch any of the Olympics. I’m usually glued in but these apps seem pretty neat. I’m app crazy!
He Melissa,
I wanted to compliment you on this post – you totally helped keep us up to date with this post. Considering the time change – regular broadcasting was a total bear (and a little not that great) . Thank you!
