When our kids get in our vehicles, we should remember that they are the most precious cargo we could possibly drive around. With your kids in your vehicle, there are certain safety tips you should follow. Sometimes we get complacent with car safety rules for our kids, but we should always always always follow them! #1. Put the safety lock on the on position in your car

Would you believe how many kids try and open a car door when they’re not supposed to? Most cars allow you to lock the car door, so that no child can open it. It’s a safety lock, normally below the handle on the inside of the door. This is one car safety tip you won’t want to walk away from.

#2. Make sure your children’s car seats are installed correctly

One of the most important car safety tip for any child is to make sure their car seat is installed correctly. A child shouldn’t be able to move freely in a car as this could be life threatening. It just takes a few seconds to make sure those car seats are properly installed. If they aren’t, seek help in getting them installed right.

#3. Don’t leave sharp objects in your car

If you have a look at your children’s toys, you may be surprised as to how many objects are sharp. In case of a car accident, these items can actually become a flying death trap.
