Thank you to Poise for sponsoring this post and keeping me confident!
When I was pregnant with my son, I knew my life was going to change – big time. But there are a few things that no one tells you will happen once you become a Mom.
1. You will learn how to eat fast. Like, really fast. Gone are the days of a leisurely dinner. From the beginning, you’re trying to scarf down a meal {when you remember} before the baby wakes up again and later, you’re trying to eat bites of your meal quickly in between taking care of your child and making sure that THEY eat.
Sometimes when I’m without my kids, I’ll still eat fast before I realize they aren’t with me.
2. You’ll be late. I used to pride myself on getting to events on time or a little early. Not anymore. I think I should just tell people to give me a time that is really 30 minutes early. Getting everything together to leave the house with one baby takes awhile, but 3 kids? No way I’ll be on time.
3. Going to Target for an hour will feel like a vacation. It’s true. I never would have thought that pre-kids but after a day with toddlers climbing all over you and not giving you any peace in the bathroom, walking around Target – taking your time! not hurrying! – will feel like you’re taking a leisurely vacation.
4. LBL. That would be Light Bladder Leakage. Yes, after having 3 kids, I sometimes suffer from LBL – tell me I’m not alone! Luckily, thanks to Poise Microliners with SAM {Super Absorbent Material}, you’ll be dry and comfortable even running around after your kids. Or sneezing. Poise Microliners are the thinnest liners in the light incontinence category and are designed to absorb wetness, neutralize odor and stay three times drier than period liners. {Psst…get a free sample from Poise!}
5. It’s all worth it. Okay, I’m sure you have heard this before. When people were trying to convince you to become pregnant or while you were miserable while pregnant, I’m sure people would tell you that it’s worth it in the end. But you don’t realize that until you’re holding that little one for the first time and gazing into their eyes. It’s all worth it.
