The Hippie
Easiest to identify and plenty of them to find in Goa. The prominent features of hippies are – dreadlocks, bandana, cigarettes, a backpack and probably flip-flops. They are also the easiest people to talk to and one of the most chilled individuals in the crowd. The hippie is the most laid back kind of traveler who has no rush to be anywhere and always exists in the moment. However, since not all hippies are same, you might even find some who are hypocrites and pre-judges a situation.
The Partier
The guy or gal who carries an upbeat profile about themselves and are often found all dressed up in glam and glitter. They are easy to spot, and it is never too early for them to grab that first beer. In addition to having those dance moves, they are also never short of stories and experiences. This person is the one who can start a party anywhere, be it a beach, city or out in the nowhere. They are also aware of the most happening place in the state and are often seen in the wee hours of the day.
The Budgeted
Spotting the budgeted traveler is effortless. They are most likely never concerned about their clothes or food they are eating. This traveler is always trying to save money and sticking to a budget is his or her forte. They will probably skip on dessert after dinner, and won’t spend on a once in a lifetime activity. Also known as the bargain kings, they will haggle with the local vendors and try to save as much as they can.
The Soul Searcher
This person is on a self-discovery mode and is certainly the most cliched of all. Most likely this person is a solo traveler who wishes to come off as a new person after the trip. These people are the ones who have just come out of a long relationship or are trying to understand themselves. Mostly found in the secluded corner on an isolated beach like Anjuna beach, watching waves go by.
The Know-It-All
The self-proclaimed philosopher, the know-it-all about everything, this person is usually the one who brags about everything they know. They are also always trying to sway the opinion of others and can talk lengths about things they do not even know.
The Flasher
The person who wears only top-notch brands, shops at overtly expensive places, and eats at the poshest restaurants. They spend money left-right-center and can be spotted at high-end places. They might brag about the things they own, and most importantly will have an Instagram account with every post that is centered around luxury.
