When Melissa here at Sippy Cup Mom needed someone to do some research on a local massage company, I had no problems with doing it for her. So thanks to her I had the opportunity to try out FaceLuxe inside Massage Luxe in Brentwood (at South Hanley and Musick Memorial Dr.) a 60 minute Luxe facial, eye treatment and a 15 minute HydroLuxe Session.

Walking into the building you get an inviting feeling and are greeted right away by the receptionist. After checking in the receptionist leads you to the relaxation room where you wait. Since this was my first time there I did have to fill out a basic questionnaire. I was greeted by Nicole, who was to do my facial. She was super sweet. She showed me to my room.

The room for my facial was very tranquil and relaxing. During my facial I was very relaxed and each of the products had a soothing smell. I had no discomfort with the products and enjoyed the time pampering myself.

When my facial was over I was lead back to the relaxation room until it was my session with the HydroLuxe. The HydroLuxe is like a water bed you lay on while jets massage your body with pressure. You are able to pick upper body, lower body, or entire body for the treatment as well as the pressure of the jets. This was heaven to me. I love getting massages and this was just perfect for a busy mom – quick and enjoyable. I was able to just lay on the table with my clothing on close my eyes and let the jets do all the work. I have had some Achilles issues lately and I loved how I was able to adjust my legs to have the jets hit those spots perfectly.
