It was an amazing experience holding a baby red kangaroo!
After the Outback Encounters we kept exploring the zoo.
We saw lots of alligators.
This little guy did not like me. He hissed at me!
Then we got hang out with the lemurs! It is $10 per person for lemur encounters!
Hayden wanted in to play with the “monkeys”!
It was so neat to play with these lemurs! They are babies too and would just randomly jump all over us! There were 4 total.
We had so much fun walking around the Zoo. The bird cage was a lot of fun and we got to see some tigers playing with each other.
Everyone was so helpful with any questions we had about the animals.
After the Zoo we went back to Gulf Shores Plantations where we spent the next 5 hours alternating between lounging on the beach or swimming in the pool. It was SO much fun!
I am going to miss those pools! We had so many to choose from. Hayden especially loved pool hopping.
For dinner we went to the restaurant Sea-N-Suds, which is right on the ocean. It had a gorgeous view and the food was DELICIOUS!
We ordered shrimp and fried mushrooms as an appetizer and then for dinner I got a 1/2 dozen of fried shrimp. It came with hush puppies, fries and slaw! I don’t have any pictures, but trust me it was so good.
There was a great view of course, so Hayden liked looking out at the waves!
We hit the road Saturday morning. 🙁 After a 12 hour trip we made it back home!
Make sure that you check out my upcoming post, which is a detailed review of Gulf Shores Plantation and some of the amazing specials they have going on right now!
Thank you to everyone at Gulf Shores Plantations for an amazing trip!

So glad you posted this! I needed the reminder that this is just a short drive from us. I love Gulf Shores and Orange Beach! So much fun! Too bad y'all won't be around for all the free concerts coming to GS. Next month Bon Jovi (my favorite, swoon) and Brad Paisley will be in concert on the beach for no charge! Glad y'all had a good time and that AL treated you right!
