Yesterday was a busy busy day!
My BFF Beth had her adorable nieces for the weekend so we decided to meet up at Stuckmeyer’s Farms to maybe pick some pumpkins and check out the ton of kids activities going on!
It was really busy and for some reason it decided to be a high of 85. Just 2 weeks ago when we went pumpkin picking (I will post about that later!) it was 55!
This St. Louis weather is crazy!
The Farm was super busy and trying to wrangle a 2 year old, a 3 year old and a 5 year old in a crowd was hard. Mom’s of two (and more) I admire you! You are BRAVE!
Trying to get a picture of all three? Not going to happen!
Beth got roped into taking Hayden down the slide SEVERAL times!
We were wiped after a short time so then we took all the kids to Chili’s which was another fabulous experience! They actually all did really good and we had a lot of fun!
That night we were headed out to dinner with our friends, The Callahan’s. They are our good friends (you know, our vacation family) and our boys are only 2 days apart. This was the first time since they have been born that we were going out without kids! Just adults!
I decided to give Hayden a bath that afternoon since we were having my rock star cousin Elizabeth come over and watch Hayden.
I put bubbles in the bath because he is all about that lately and let him have his fun while I cleaned up the bathroom.
After about 20 minutes, I got him out and brought him to his room where he got dressed and then started playing in his room.
I was in a rush getting ready because I knew Elizabeth would be over soon, but I remembered to run into the bathroom to pull the plug to let the water drain.
THEN, we went out to dinner! We had a fantastic time with our friends where we enjoyed eating lots and lots of food without kids interrupting us!
And Hayden has a fantastic time too with Elizabeth! So win win!
We put Hayden to sleep and then Heath and I were able to catch up on the latest episode of Boardwalk Empire.
And then sleep.
I’m woken up this morning around 7am by Heath.
“So I just wanted to let you know that when I went to take a shower this morning there were three giant poops in the tub.”
Whoops! Guess I need to make sure to always check the tub!
Also, I would love if you voted for me! Thanks! 😉
