Just last week, I had the chance to attend the red blue carpet premiere of Finding Dory, which is in theaters on June 17th! This is a film that I’ve been waiting to see come to the screen for over 13 years and let me tell you – it was worth the wait!

The world premiere of Finding Dory was at the El Capitan Theater. When we arrived, we walked the blue carpet and were told to “Just Keep Swimming” as we walked toward the theater. As I walked the down the carpet with my blogging friends, we heard the crowd go wild – Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi had arrived! Everyone was trying to get a good look at them, so it was hard for me to snap a picture!

As we kept swimming down the blue carpet, you would hear the crowd roar with each celebrity arrival. The lights were so bright and there were so many media outlets lined up to get an interview with the celebrities. We had fun spotting the voice cast of Finding Dory on the red carpet like Ed O’Neill, Albert Brooks, Ty Burrell, Kaitlin Olson and more!

I’ve been able to attend both the Monsters University and The Good Dinosaur red carpet premieres. Disney premieres are so fun because they allow everyone – celebrities and regular ol’ people like me to walk the red carpet. Once we got to the theater, we were allowed to head in, grab a seat and wait for Finding Dory to start!
After the movie {check out my spoiler-free review!), we headed back outside to Hollywood Blvd. to see that it had been transformed into an under the sea party! We enjoyed dinner, drinks, fun games and more!
