One of my favorite things about summer is that Cecelia’s hair is always up. We’re always outside playing or swimming so there is really no reason for her hair to be down much at all which makes my life easier. But, now that we’re back to school, I don’t have all the time to do a nice neat pony tail every morning and her hair down kind of makes me crazy; it’s always knotty and dry looking after using our “adult” shampoo and conditioner.
Enter SoCozy.
I was sent four products to review in honor of back to school hair and there is not one product out of the four that I dislike. They each do their own job and make her hair smell FANTASTIC- even the next morning. I also love how they don’t weigh her hair down so her ends keep their ever so slight curl.
Chinch 3 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner + Body Wash in Mango-go: I’m usually pretty skeptical about shampoo + conditioner products as I’ve never really had one that conditioned and left hair nice and knot free. Well, this does the trick. Being 3 in 1, it’s perfect for those baths that you just need to get done relatively quickly; start at the top and work your way down.
Cinch Super Hydrating Conditioner in Berry-whip: Being as that Cecelia has naturally dry, kind of stringy hair, conditioner is a MUST for her and we usually have to let it sit for awhile so it does what it is actually supposed to do. This stuff makes conditioning that much easier as I don’t have to sit and wait for it to ‘work’ like I do for other products. I put this one, rub it in, rinse it out, and her hair is knot free. Combine it with the 3 in 1 and your child will have the most moisturized hair in school.
Cinch Detangler + Leave-In Conditioner in Fruity-tutti: Honesty is the best policy so I’ll be honest and say that I really dislike the smell of this one. I’ve never really been a fan of the fruity mix smells and for me, this is no exception. I will say that I am alone in that statement in this house as my husband thinks its smells great and Cecelia constantly walks around smelling the ends of her hair after I spray it on. But, I will say as much as I dislike the smell, I use it on Cecelia ALL THE TIME. The detangler + Leave-In Conditioner wins the SoCozy best product award in my book. It is like I’m spraying liquid silk on her hair and it stays that way all day. With as awesome as this product is, I forget about how much I dislike fruity smells.
Behave Styling Mousse Medium Hold in Peachy-keen: The final step in our nightly SoCozy hair care routine. This mousse really defines her little curls without that normal crunchy texture most mousse products leave behind. I even use it on her dry hair when she has some extra frizz and flyaways and it doesn’t leave her hair greasy or crunchy at all. It’s also perfect for the layered parts of her hair that like to escape her “Elsa” braids.
These four products seriously go perfect together. We have a TON of product that I’ve used on Cecelia’s hair before and it solves her hair dilemmas for a short time until the next bath. With SoCozy, we’ve skipped bath and she has woken up and her hair looks just as clean and hydrated as the day before.
Another awesome thing about SoCozy is that every product contains extracts from natural ingredients; hops, arnica flower, aloe and rosemary to name a few. These are awesome amazing products that I would love to use. They look like they really hydrate the hair and give back its sheen from all the harshness of Summer. I know swimming in the pool really dries out my hair.
