October is one of my favorite months for many reasons! I love the cooler weather, the pumpkin treats and the leaves changing colors…but most of all, I love that it means playoff baseball! To me, baseball colors are white and red – which also happen to be my favorite team’s colors. Go Cardinals! If you’re watching playoff baseball this month, you’ll want to make this super easy and delicious treat.
Baseball Popcorn Mix
Ingredients
– Natural Popcorn {stay away from buttered popcorn}
– White Chocolate Chips
– Burnt Peanuts {found in the candy aisle}
– Any additional candy like M&M’s, sprinkles or nuts
Directions
– Pop popcorn in microwave and then set aside.
– Either in microwave or a double boiler, melt the white chocolate chips, stirring every 30 seconds. You can add a little vegetable oil to thin it.
– Pour the white chocolate over the popcorn and mix well.
– Refrigerate to allow the chocolate to harden over the popcorn.
– Take out and mix in burnt peanuts or additional candy.
– Serve up while you’re watching your favorite team play!
For all of my St. Louis Cardinals fans out there….you can easily call this St. Louis Cardinals Popcorn Mix! 😀
And have you been watching the Kansas City Royals play?! Congratulations to them for making the playoffs and they have had some entertaining games so far! So to our fellow Missouri team, Kansas City Royals Popcorn Mix – super easy!
Which baseball team are you rooting for this October?
