Hayden woke us up at 7 this morning and was ready to go to the beach!
It took us a little longer to wake up! After breakfast we headed to the grocery store (well, several grocery stores) to stock up on groceries and everything we would need for the week.
After we got home and had some lunch we were on our way to the beach!
Hayden was on a mission and ready to go!

We came to Gulf Shores last year and the water was pretty dirty. It was really hard to see but I had no problems going out in the water.
This year, right in front of Gulf Shores Plantations, the water is CRYSTAL CLEAR all the way going out to waist deep. I freaked out though because there were so many fish, stingrays and crabs. Heath made the point that they were probably there last year. Well last year I didn’t see them! It kind of freaked me out to have everything brushing against me. But it is gorgeous!

After the beach we spent time time at the pool but then Hayden asked to take a nap(!) around 4. I figured he might sleep for an hour or so but he slept for 3 hours! We woke him up for dinner and then headed down to the pool again!
After a bath, it’s now 11pm and Hayden is still wide awake. I guess that’s what I get for letting him sleep so late but maybe he will sleep in! 🙂

I did the same thing with my mutant I was hoping he would sleep for the night, but nope. He woke up at 9:30 and just fell back asleep at 1am.
That beach looks wonderful! I am so jealous. We don't leave for vacation until December and every where is cold then. Sadly we will have a cold vacation.
