Hayden hasn’t always been a picky eater, but it seems like in the past year he has gotten a lot worse. When we had his 4 year old check-up in February, I knew that his pediatrician was going to ask me about his diet. His diet consists mostly of fruit and yogurt (which is good!) and maybe some Mac and Cheese and English Muffin Pizzas. It’s definitely hard to get him to eat veggies or meat, I’m always having to hide them into his meals.
Hayden’s always been in the 50% for weight and he still was for his checkup, which means he is about 36 pounds. He’s the youngest one in his class which means he is also one of the littlest. Since he’s been such a picky eater, my main concern is he’s not getting all of the nutrition that he needs. There’s too many times that he doesn’t complete a meal and it worries me!
That’s where Boost Kid Essentials comes in!
Boost Kid Essentials is a delicious drink that can completely replace a meal if needed. Available in vanilla and chocolate, each drink provides 240 calories, 24 essential vitamins and minerals and 7 grams of protein! I love knowing that if he doesn’t finish a meal, he’ll enjoy this treat and I know that he’s getting everything he needs for his body.
Over on the Boost Kid Essentials Facebook page they have a great new campaign where they will be featuring three different families sharing their stories throughout the next month and how the drinks have helped their picky eaters get the nutrition that they need.
I was excited to see the first video from The Brunelle Family. I really related to them since they also had a son who was 4 years old and a picky eater. Make sure to head over, check out their video and tell me what you think! You can even share your story with them on what you do for your picky eater!

We’ve had feeding issues with my son, so I completely understand being concerned about being underweight. It’s a really tough thing to deal with when your child isn’t growing like he should.
