This month is one of my favorite times of the year. I love snuggling on the couch with my family while we watch a Christmas movie and our Christmas tree shining brightly next to us. I love driving around looking at Christmas lights in our pajamas, staying warm by drinking cups of hot chocolate. But one of my favorite things abut the holiday season are the scents. They say that scents can bring on such powerful memories and it’s so true! I can smell something and be transported back to when I was a child looking at my St. Nicholas gifts or my Grandma’s kitchen making sugar cookies. That’s why I love to fill my house up with different scents – you never know when 20 years from now they will make my kids think of a fun activity we were doing just then!
Enter my house and you’ll smell my Sage and Thyme candle that is in the living room. It’s a scent that just reminds me of the holiday season – plus, it makes my house smell clean when you walk in!
When you walk into my kitchen, you’ll smell is the mix of cranberry and marmalade. No, I’m not cooking anything {haha!} it’s just a wonderful scent that I have plugged into my outlet and I’ve had so many compliments on the delicious smell!
Head downstairs and I’ve got the smell of crisp evergreen room my big three wick candle. Our basement is where we put up our Christmas tree and while we don’t have a real tree, I still wanted that smell of a real tree. We had such a fun time decorating our tree this past weekend with the scent of evergreen filling the room!
Another thing I love about this holiday season? Gifting loved ones! If you’re looking for a gift to give a loved one or looking to just say thanks, I’m all about giving the scent of Christmas!
Who wouldn’t love to receive the sweet smell of Christmas this holiday season? I know I would! Print the free printable below {just click on it!} and use double stick tape to attach to a bag. You can find a huge assortment of holiday scents in the air care aisle at Walmart for both your home and a loved ones!
What kind of scents remind you of the holiday season? What are some of your favorite scents to fill your house with?

Sugar Cookie is my favorite scent during the holidays. It reminds me of baking cookies with my Grandmother, she always let me lick the bowls. I like to have apple, cinnamon, vanilla and sugar cookie scents during the holidays. 🙂

When I think of the holidays, I think of baked goods and cinnamon. Nothing like apple cider, cinnamon sticks and oranges in a crock pot! Candles are a great way to add warmth to any space. Thanks for the printable!
