My son absolutely loves to draw. He’s huge into playing with his action figures and playsets and then he likes to set them up on the kitchen table as he draws them. He’s gotten to be pretty good and right now our fridge and his bedroom door is covered with some of his artwork. I just can’t bring myself to throw away anything he makes so I store almost everything in a large expandable folder. These drawings are so special to Hayden that when I heard of Budsies, I knew that I had to work with them!
Budsies brings artwork to life!
It’s so simple! Your child loves to draw and like my son, they may have some very special drawings that they love. There’s no way that you want to get rid of those drawings and wouldn’t you want to turn it into something your child can play with? All you have to do is pick a drawing and scan it so you can upload it to your computer or take a picture of it with your smartphone so you can text it or email it.
Those are two pictures that Hayden drew and loves! They were hanging on his bedroom door when I scanned them and then uploaded them to the Budsies website. Then, all you have to do is describe your Budsie a little so artists know a little bit more about your child’s creation. After checking out, your Budsie will arrive in 6-8 weeks! I actually received mine in about a month.
When I gave Hayden his Budsies, he squealed in delight and repeated his latest favorite phrase that he must get from me – “Oh my gosh!”. He instantly squeezed and hugged them and then ran to his bedroom door to compare them to the pictures that were still hanging up!
Budsies are the ultimate unique gift! There’s absolutely no two that are the same because it’s the product of your child’s imagination! But you know what? Adults can do it too!
The quality of the Budsies are fantastic. They are about 16″ tall and 100% all new polyester shell and filling. The materials are similar to those you’d find on stuffed toys at a high-end toy store. Each piece of artwork is inspected by Budsies Art Director and interpreted by their Designer. Meticulous planning and prepwork goes into selecting the right colors, materials, and features. Then comes the actual sewing: all done with care by hand by a seamstress. Then, each completed Budsie must pass creative approval and stress testing before being hand-packed and sent out for final delivery. So much love goes into a Budsie!

This is such a cool idea! My 5 year old daughter LOVES to draw. She draws anything from ponies to horses to angry birds. I can relate with you when it comes to her drawings. Her drawings are all over the place, She posts them in the refrigerator, she keeps them in the drawer and she sticks them on the walls. I think this is great that their drawings and scribbles can become a plush doll. 🙂
