I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Sprint. I received product samples to facilitate my review.
As we start to get into the busiest time of the year, I sometimes feel like I just never stop! The next 2 months are filled up with volunteer shifts at my son’s school, Holiday parties, doctor’s appointments, Parents as Teachers meetings, playdates and so much more! I’ll have to fit in Holiday shopping in there of course in addition to everything that I need to get done around the house! It’s just go-go-go!
Since I work from home, I’m able to do a lot of my work right from my phone. It’s great when I’m out running errands and I can send an email or check something for a client while on the go. Luckily, I have the Moto X Phone to keep my life organized!
Moto X Phone Features
Moto X Design
I received a white Moto X and I’m in love with it. It’s lightweight, sturdy and fits perfectly in the palm of my hand. I have tried phones before that are way too large and I can’t comfortably type with just one hand. I’ve also tried phones that are smaller than the Moto X and I can stumble with the keyboard. The textured back makes it easy to grip and the phone is the perfect size to fit in the back pocket of my jeans or the pocket of my diaper bag.
Moto X and Google
I’m a Google Gal – I love Google Chrome, I couldn’t live without my Google Calendar, Google Maps or Gmail. So I love that the Moto X features all of the Google Mobile™ wireless services such as Google Search™, Gmail™, Google Maps™ for Android, Google Calendar™ and YouTube™.
Fast While On the Go
With the Moto X being on the Sprint 4G LTE network, it’s super fast. It sends texts, emails and searches for me at lighting fast speed. Since I sometimes travel for work, I also appreciate that the the phone is a 3G/4G LTE mobile hotspot with the capability to support up to 8 Wi-Fi enabled devices simultaneously.
“OK Google Now”
This is by far one of my favorite features of the Moto X. I can basically control the whole phone without even having to pick it up. The Moto X has learned my voice and without even touching the phone, I can say “OK Google Now” and send text messages, search Google or check the weather all while my phone sits next to me out of reach. It’s also perfect because sometimes I’ll be in the car and hear a song that I really like. I usually have to get out my Shazam App, but with this feature I can say, “OK Google Now, what song is playing?” and it tells me! It also provides a link for me to purchase and download the song right to my phone!
Photos and Quick Capture
I am all about taking photos. I take several photos a day of all my kids so I need a phone that can keep up with me. The Moto X has a fantastic “Quick Capture” feature where while holding the phone, just twist your wrist twice and the camera automatically appears. No worries about pressing the shutter button while trying to get two active babies or your son’s swing of that bat anymore – just tap ANYWHERE on the screen and it will focus and take a picture!
The Moto X has dual cameras – a 10 MP rear-facing camera with LED flash, 4 X digital zoom and video capture and a 2 MP front-facing with video capture!
I’m absolutely in love with the Moto X phone – it’s a must-have for any busy Mom or Dad!
Fitbit Flex
As I mentioned above, I’m always on the go. Now that I’ve stopped nursing my twins, I’m really trying harder to get more active and lose weight. The Fitbit Flex is a perfect tool to help aid me with my weight loss and goal to get more active!
The FitBit Flex is a lightweight device that you wear around your wrist. It tracks your steps, distance and calories burned for the day. When I first put on my Fitbit Flex, I decided to just do my daily routine. Now, this was a day where I wasn’t too busy and spent a lot of time at home but I wasn’t near the recommended goal of 10,000 steps and I decided I needed to kick my butt into gear!
It also tracks your sleep at night and I was so eager to see this! Luckily, the girls are now sleeping through the night otherwise I would have hated to see my sleep patterns! What’s interesting is that you can see how many times you woke up during the night and for how long and how long you are restless for. It’s interesting to see if there is a pattern – for example, I always get up at the same time to go to the bathroom at night! You can even set an alarm and your Fitbit Flex will gently wake you up with vibrations!
Another bonus of the Fitbit Flex? It’s completely waterproof which means you can jump in the shower with it on plus it has a long-lasting battery life. I only have to charge it about every 5 days or so and I can do that right at my computer.
Moto X and Fitbit Flex Together
I love how the Moto X Phone and Fitbit Flex go hand in hand, plus they are both available to purchase at Sprint. My Fitbit easily syncs up with the app on the Moto X and since my phone is always with me, I can check my steps to see how I’m doing during the day and log in my food and water too.
When purchased at Sprint, you’ll have unlimited data – which makes it convenient to sync your fit bit data on-the-go as often as you want without worrying about overages on your wireless bill!
The Moto X Phone and Fitbit Flex is the perfect gift this Holiday season for Mom or Dad!

I was just telling Heath last night that I think it’s way better than other phones. I just love that I don’t even have to pick up the phone, just talk to it and it can do a ton of stuff for me!

We have so much to do these next several weeks to – on top of holidays, we have a baby coming sometime around December 20! I use my phone a lot for work-related tasks. I wouldn’t want to leave the house if I couldn’t check my email or have access to the internet while I was gone.
