There are very few games that I play on my iPad. Since I don’t have too much time with 3 kiddos running around, I’m very selective about what games I get addicted to! This past week, I have been loving Cascade, the latest app from Big Fish Games – who always puts out such fun games!
Cascade is an epic adventure for you AND your friends and is a new spin on match-3 puzzles. Join Jasper the Mole on his journey through 10 lands and complete over 140 colorful levels! Spin for gems and send them cascading with matches of 3 or more. The larger the match, the higher your score!
If you love slot and match games, you’ll love this new innovated game that combines both. It’s a very easy game to play {but also becomes challenging!} and even my 6 year old son sat behind me and caught on quickly.
You’ll start each level with 5 spins and you’ll get a line of gems at the bottom of the board. You then take the gems to make matches of three or more on the board. The matches can be made in any direction, but only once per row so there is definitely a bit of strategy involved. The larger the match, the higher your score will be! If you run out of matches, you’ll hit the SPIN button to swap out for new gems. I also love that you can earn Burst Gems, Wilds, and other boosts and powerups to get you through challenging levels.
Now, you only need 1 star to advance to the next level but if you strategize your matches, you can earn more points and more stars. You can earn up to 3 stars for each level and earn more boosts with the more stars you get.
It’s hard to get bored at playing Cascade because there are over 100 challenging levels. Plus, the whole social aspect adds a whole new level to it! I love that I can connect with my friends on Facebook and compete against them to try for the high score in the daily challenge.
Cascade is definitely a fun game to play – I intended only playing a few levels and then next thing I knew, an hour had gone by! It’s the perfect game to play for a little while or a long while!

I dont play a lot of games but I do like the match games like these when I do play something.
I don’ t have an ipad, but I have a kindle. I play frozen which is a similar game. My boys play lots of other games.
It sort of reminds me of Bejeweled Blitz. I love games like these, so I will be sure to check it out.

Cascade looks like great fun. I’ve been playing Candy Crush for a while now, but I like the artwork of Cascade better. Also, the Candy Crush voice creeps me out a little.
