Whether you are a mom of one or more, your job is tough some days. From the tummy aches and snotty noses to temper tantrums and not listening. Being a mom is not always easy. Sometimes it is a miracle that I can get through the tough days. Luckily the tough days are far and few in between.
I remember this one time in particular when my three year old son and 21 month old daughter would just not behave. My son had bitten my daughter. No blood was drawn but the battle lines had been. My daughter than was screaming on top of her lungs. My son was screaming as well because he did not want to sit in time-out. Not only did this happen but we had to be at the photographer studio for family pictures. I had to get them dressed and out the door in less than 20 minutes. Suddenly, I could not find my daughter’s red bow that went with her dress. My daughter would not stop crying. I felt it was utter chaos in our house! It was a mad dash to dress them. I was unable to locate the bow but thankfully we have a ton of bows. We left the house in disarray. As we were driving, I was putting my makeup on in the car. My son was telling me to put on his favorite song. All I wanted was a minute to breathe! As we arrived at the studio, I realized that I somehow managed to have my kids put together. The bow ended up looking better than the one planned on. The pictures were hard to choose from because they took so many good ones. I am a tough mother because I can get through the hectic and crazy days without falling apart.
Always cherish the moments when life seems to be tough because in the end everything will work itself out. I treasure the kisses and hugs I get out of nowhere. When the day is done my son knows how to reach my heart. He tells me I am beautiful and that he loves me. My daughter will wrap her arms around my leg and look up with her beautiful blue eyes. Everything from earlier in the day when things were not going so smooth was all forgotten because of those sweet words or looks from my sweet and innocent children.
I appreciate my mom so much more now that I have kids. I totally get what motherhood is all about and the sacrifices that are made. I never realized how much my mom did for us growing up; the unselfish acts. It is amazing how my mom never managed to make her job look tough as a mother. She always provided unconditional love that I now take with me to teach my children. My mom is my greatest teacher and one tough mother!
This year for Mother’s Day, I will be sending my mom a beautiful Teleflora bouquet. Sending her fresh flowers from Teleflora is a great way for me to express my appreciation and there’s so many beautiful ones to choose from like the Garden Pitcher Bouquet or the Painted Blossoms Bouquet!
I received the Teleflora’s Love and Joy Bouquet. This arrangement is stunning! I love that Teleflora bouquets come professionally-arranged and hand delivered by a local florist – not from a warehouse. My flower bouquet vase is something I can cherish.
Happy Mother’s Day!
Disclosure: All thoughts and opinions are my own. I did receive the above product for review purposes only. This post was sponsored by Teleflora.

YES! It take a lot to be a “tough mom”. I’m not… not when I think of what my mom had to go through! I feel like I have to keep a running list on a post it not to email her “thank you for taking me to dance lessons even though I was a snot” or “I’m sorry I didn’t even try your lasagna that I ended up loving a few years later.” Many other things. I should probably send her some flowers! The Joy, Love bouquet is gorgeous. Love the vase, and you can keep using it!!
