We have long been a fan of Peppa Pig in our household. You know Peppa, right? The show follows the daily activities of Peppa, her brother George, Mommy Pig and Daddy Pig as they play games, go to school, take family trips and, best of all, jump in muddy puddles! It’s a great show for children that shows the fun and learning experiences that can come from any situation!
I always love when one of our favorite shows offers more. In the case of Peppa Pig, there is now a new app available called Peppa Pig’s Party Time! Available to download through iTunes, this app is just full of fun for kids of all ages.
At $4.99, I first thought this was a steep price for an app, but as my son and I explored, I realized it was quite a bargain for this fun game! It’s not just ONE game but actually six mini-games plus an interactive scrapbook to store your party memories in!
The big day has arrived and there’s lots to do to get ready for Peppa Pig’s Party! Kids are able to help Peppa prepare for the party by making and decorating invitations, mixing and baking a delicious cake and then creating and decorating the party bags! This is where you can let your child’s imagination open up as they are in charge of the party and can completely decorate things themselves. I loved seeing what Hayden would pick to decorate – he LOVED the stickers – and also how interested he was in the steps of making a cake.

Once you have everything ready, it’s time to party with Peppa and friends! There are three fun party games to play – Pass the Parcel, Musical Chairs and Pinata! What’s so fun about these games is that you can have more than one person play! Hayden loved that we could play musical chairs together as Peppa and her friends since that is one of his favorite games at school.
Once the party is over, open up the scrapbook and add your pictures in so you can look back at the fun memories!
We have downloaded Peppa Pig’s Party app on both the iPhone and iPad. It’s definitely designed exclusively for the iPad, but it looks great on the iPhone too. It’s basically the Peppa Pig show right in your hands! The app is also super simple and intuitive. When I handed it to my six year old, I didn’t even have to explain what to do, he was off and playing by himself!
While the app is ALL fun and games, the one thing I sometimes don’t like about kid’s apps is the option of in-app purchases. What I love about Peppa Pig’s Party Time is that it’s a P2 Kid Safe app. P2 Kid Safe apps DO NOT contain in-app purchasing or data gathering systems of any kind, meaning your children can safely play without fear of unwittingly purchasing app content or credits, or disclosing data about their playing habits, location or the device they are using.
Peppa Pig’s Party Time app is available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Dutch. Geared for children ages 3-6, this is sure to be a popular app in any household!

I love that there’s a scrapbook at the end to go through the memories you made. That’s a cool idea! I expect nothing less though, from Peppa and the gang. We just love them (said in an English accent, of course!). 🙂

I love that these long time cartoons are bridging into technology. We never watched Peppa, mostly because I can’t appreciate the animation style.
Peppa Pig is always fun!! I’ve found I don’t mind buying apps when they disable in app purchases. Totally worth it.

This is really cute! I love that I could hand it off to my child and not worry about having to purchase additional levels or “pieces” to the game.

I think Peppa Pig is so cool and I am happy to see an app. I love the British accent. I dated a British guy for three years and that’s the only thing I miss about him. Lol. We once took his Kids to Peppa Pig World in England when I was in England. It was so much fun
