Summer is here and we are taking advantage of it! As much as I love staying in our air-conditioned house, I also love getting out in the heat and playing with my kids! We love to hit up the park, the pool, walk our neighborhood looking for Pokemon and have fun in our backyard.
But after being in the heat for a few hours (and it’s HOT here in St. Louis – yesterday it felt like 104 degrees!) we need to cool off. And how do we like to cool off? Milkshakes!!!
Olivia and Evie are 3 and they both love helping me in the kitchen. Hayden is 8 and doesn’t like to help so much anymore but he does like to help when it involves ice cream! To get the best ingredients, head to Kroger and pick up Promised Land Milk and Breyers Natural Vanilla ice cream!
Promised Land Milk is SO creamy and delicious! It sometimes feels like it’s an indulgent treat – no wonder my son is always asking for so many glasses of milk! You’ll find that Promised Land Milk is creamier and richer than other milks because they come from Jersey cows. Jersey cows originally come from the Channel Island of Jersey off the coast of France and only less than 10% of the milk in the U.S. comes from Jersey cows! Promised Land Milk doesn’t add artificial hormones or antibiotics and it’s naturally higher in protein and calcium!
Combine that Promised Land Milk with Breyers Natural Vanilla ice cream and you’ve got the start of a delicious milkshake! We love Breyers Natural Vanilla because it’s made with fresh cream, sugar and milk. It’s made with only the best vanilla, high quality ingredients and tastes the way vanilla ice cream is supposed to!
This recipe for Very Cherry Vanilla Milkshake is so easy to make, it’s going to become a summer staple in your household!
