A little over 8 weeks ago, I completed the Drop 2 Sizes Challenge at Forward Fitness here in St. Louis. I shared how excited I was to start taking care of myself and also the halfway through the challenge update. At the beginning of this challenge, I had moments of panic and wanted to cancel thinking no way would I be able to complete it. I had moments throughout the challenge where I didn’t do my best. But throughout the whole 8 weeks, the team at Forward Fitness was behind me 100%, encouraging me and pushing me to go on. After 8 weeks, I’m SO glad I did the challenge because I’m ended it feeling better than ever – AND down 2 sizes!
How Forward Fitness Helped Me
Forward Fitness showed me that I AM strong enough to lift weights. That I CAN get through a 45 minute class. That I CAN eat delicious and nutritious food and feel satisfied. That working out could help me mentally AND physically. Whenever I thought I couldn’t do something, they told me they knew that I could and pushed and encouraged me. When I had a bad week of eating out too much and making some poor food choices, they helped me figure out how to get back on track. I’m so glad that we took before and after pictures. Whenever I was feeling discouraged, I’d look at the pictures from the beginning of the challenge and then the halfway through picture. But I’m even more thrilled with my before picture at the start of the Drop 2 Sizes Challenge and the final picture!

At the end of the Drop 2 Sizes Challenge with Forward Fitness, I had dropped over 10 pounds, 2 sizes and had more confidence and belief in myself! I’ve had to go out and buy a new pair of jeans because mine are too big now! I never would have done this without the amazing Forward Fitness team – Mike, Suzanne, Cory, Nick and Denise!
