My kids adore Daniel Tiger! I love that Daniel Tiger teaches kids how to handle “real life” situations. For example, Daniel Tiger teaches my kids how to not be scared in storms. They can think of something happy and it is not scary anymore. Daniel Tiger also has catchy tunes. I find myself singing the songs along with the kids.
A synopsis of “Daniel Goes to the Doctor”
Preschoolers can climb aboard Trolley and join Daniel Tiger as he goes for a checkup, gets a shot, and helps Mom Tiger when she’s not feeling well. When Daniel visits the doctor for his checkup, he is “one stripe scared” about going. To help Daniel feel better, Mom Tiger talks with him about the visit and sings “when we do something new, let’s talk about what we’ll do.” Other helpful strategies that Daniel and his friends and family use in select stories featured on the DVD include: “when you get hurt, find a grown-up to help you feel better” and “when you’re sick, rest is best.”
The DVD includes 8 “Grr-ific” Episodes plus a bonus story.
The episodes include:
-Daniel Feels Better
