This year my son started 1st grade which means he is attending full-day. He is still adjusting but I think one of the hardest things is his meals. He eats lunch at 10:50 am which means by the time he gets home at 4:00 pm, he is starving! I don’t like to give him a big meal when he gets home from school since we will be eating sinner soon, so I’m always looking for some delicious but fun after school snacks.
I’ve found a ton of great recipes for after school snacks that I’ll be making soon! Check out my Foodie collection of Delicious and Fun After-School Snacks– and I’d love to hear what your little ones like!

Thanks for all the great ideas! Our boys generally grab a banana and a cup of peanut butter for their after school snack, but these treats look extra tasty!

The ranch cheese it’s look awesome and the homemade fruit snacks look fun. I love making homemade granola bars for a kids snack or making my own trail mix.

These are some creative ideas, way more effort than I have ever done, I usually pop in some bagel bites and call it a day.
