Last week I had the chance to get a sneak peek of a new store arriving in St. Louis called h.h. gregg. I had never heard of the brand before, but h.h gregg has been around since 1955. Four stores have opened in St. Louis and they are the first stores west of the Mississippi River.
h.h. gregg sells appliances, electronics, furniture, mattresses and more! I know this is quickly going to become one of my husband and I’s favorite stores! Thanks to Whirlpool and Maytag,we were going to get a special tour and introduction to some of their best and newest appliances!
Earlier this month I had read that Stainless Steel was out and white and black were in, so I wasn’t surprised to see the new White Ice and Black Ice Kitchen Collections from Whirlpool! They were simply gorgeous!

The new Ice Collection from Whirlpool comes in Black Ice or White Ice but also features Stainless Steel accents, so it’s sure to look good in any kitchen.

We also got the chance to learn more about the Whirlpool Duet Washer and Dryer, which we actually own! It makes laundry so much easier now and I loved hearing a bit more about some of the features of the washer and dryer. My favorite feature is the FanFresh option!
We also got to learn a bit more about induction cooking, which I really didn’t know much about. Induction cooking uses 58% less energy than cooking with a gas range. What I love is that the only place that heats on top of the stove is where the pan is.

The Maytag Repairman was there telling us about the top-loading washer and dryers from Maytag, in addition to telling us about a fun site that talks about your families stain stats over 10 years! Right now we are expected to only have 8,550 stains for our family but I don’t even want to know how that number will go up when the twins arrive!

I had such an amazing time at the event, learning more about the Whirlpool and Maytag brands at h.h. gregg. I also loved learning that Whirlpool and Maytag products are designed, engineered and assembled right here in the United States!
I was also excited to spend time with fellow St. Louis bloggers, to see old friends and meet new!

Wow, you are so lucky! We have a Whirlpool washer and dryer and I like them. However, the next time I get a new washer, I’m going to go back to a top loading one, not a front loading! We just bought our house about 3-4 years ago and got all new appliances at the time, so we probably won’t be getting any other new appliances any time soon unless something breaks (fingers crossed it doesn’t though, lol!)!
Fingers crossed for you! We have the front-loading washer and dryer from Whirlpool and so far, so good!

This looks like a really fun event. We have a Maytag oven and mircowave and love them! While the induction top is safer and uses less energy, we chose to get a gas stove because here in Kansas our power goes out and we still want to be able to cook 😉
Yes, I just met her for the first time last week and got to see her again this week! 😉
Oh, luckily we don’t have the power go out too often otherwise a gas stove would be the best!

I’ve been to hh gregg once when I used to live near one. As for what appliance I need to purchase next, I would say a dishwasher. Ours is pretty ancient.

We love HH Gregg. We got a great deal on our dishwasher there and I can’t wait to go back to replace our fridge. We need a new one and that Whirlpool french door fridge looks incredible! I’m surprised to hear that stainless steel is out though, I still love it.

I have never heard of hh gregg so I would have to say there is not one nearby. I would LOVE to have a NEW Washer and Dryer one day. We have only ever had used ones and that is a lot of wear with 7 people in the house! 🙂
