Back in June, I had the chance to visit Walt Disney Studios where we were able to get a sneak peek of bonus content for some of the upcoming Disney Home Entertainment titles! We were even introduced to the short presentation by David Jessen, the VP of Content Enhancement Production who choose what bonus content will go onto each Blu-ray/DVD!
I was so excited to see what was coming out in the next few months and I can’t wait to share it all with you below!
The Little Mermaid: Diamond Edition
Ariel is a free-spirited mermaid, who is off on the adventure of a lifetime with her best friend, the adorable Flounder and the reggae-singing Caribbean crab Sebastian at her side. But it will take all of her courage and determination to make her dreams come true—and save her father’s beloved kingdom from the sneaky sea witch Ursula.
Disney’s The Little Mermaid Diamond Edition will be released on Blu-ray/DVD on October 1st! We got a sneak peek of some very special bonus content – Grammy®-Nominated Recording Artist Carly Rae Jepsen in a music video for her new version of Part of Your World! I absolutely loved the video and got chills watching it.
Super Buddies

Super Buddies is back with an all-new adventure! Available on Blu-ray/DVD on August 27th, you’ll love this fun family movie. I know my 5 year old will definitely get a kick out of their latest adventure !
Nashville

I have never seen Nashville, but I have a lot of friends and family that watch it. I think I’ll need to catch up on Season 1 so I can start watching Season 2 this fall! We got a sneak peek of Lennon and Maisy singing Ho Hey and I absolutely loved it!

Besides The Little Mermaid, this is one upcoming Disney Home Entertainment release that I am SO excited about! Right before the trip, I spent a whole day in bed with the twins and watched Season 1 of Scandal on Netflix. So, when we had the chance to watch a special preview of the “Huck” episode from Scandal Season 2, I had to look down and avert my eyes I didn’t want to be spoiled by anything! I did happen to look up a few times and I can tell you it looked good! Season 2 of Scandal is available on DVD September 3rd and you can bet that I’ll be catching up so I can tune into Season 3 with everyone else!

I am super excited about the Little Mermaid, Last year I was excited about Cinderella which was also released in October.
