Disney’s Friends for Change Games Starting June 24th!

Are you looking for more ways to get your kids more involved in being green?

Have them tune into “Disney’s Friends for Change Games” on the Disney channel, beginning June 24th!

Four teams of your children’s favorite Disney stars from around the world will each play a series of fun physical challenges inspired by everyday “green” acts!

Each team is also playing for a global charity! The Blue Team is playing for Ocean Conservancy, the Red Team for the World Wildlife Fund, the Green Team for Fauna and Flora International and the Yellow Team for UNICEF!

For the next five weeks, beginning Friday, June 24th, you will be able to see clips from the games on Friday, Saturdays and Sundays during regular prime time programming.

Starting Monday, June 27th at 9:30pm EST, there will be a special episode about the games! The Games will end with a special episode on Sunday, July 31st!

Disney is going to make a $125,000 donation to each charity and the winning team’s charity will receive an additional $100,000 donation from Disney!

You and your children can visit Disney.com/projectgreen and the Friends for Change International sites, you can pledge actions to help the planet. to date, over FOUR MILLION pledges have been made by children across the world!

Have your children become involved in helping our planet by playing fun online versions of the games! They can donate their earned points to their favorite teams! The team with the most online points will be named the regional “Fan Favorite” team and each of the global region’s “Fan Favorite” will be awarded an additional $100,000 for their team’s charity!

You can also encourage your children to create a piece of online art for the Disney Friends for Change Group Wall at Disney.com/Create!
