In 1966, Peet’s first coffee and tea store opened in Berkeley, California and with the first store the artisan coffee movement was born. Peet’s Coffee is made in small batches with fresh, dark beans and exceptional quality to create complex and rich flavors that appeals to coffee lovers.

Fans of Peet’s Coffee have been waiting for single cups to be released. The time is finally here! It took 5 years but Peet’s worked to perfect each blend, using more coffee than most, designing a specific dose for each blend, and using a different kind of filter than allows more flavor to pass into the cup. Available in 5 flavors and created using the same beans and hand roasting process that Peet’s fans expect, Single Cups are sweeping the United States and changing the way Americans feel about a cup of coffee.

To celebrate, Peet’s Coffee has launched , the Internet’s very first social sampling experiment. Peet’s needs you to help them decide where to go and hand out samples of their delicious coffee so they are asking fun and quirky questions to see if you Give a Cup.

There’s so many things I Give a Cup about. I Give a Cup about my family and my friends. I Give a Cup about my coffee. And I Give a Cup about Kale! Why Kale? Because that is the question right now – Peet’s Coffee wants to know if you Give a Cup about Kale.     I give a couple cups about Kale. It’s great drizzled lightly with olive oil, garlic powder and placed in an oven at the lowest setting for 2 hours. Kale chips make potato chips look like the cousins no one wants (but has to) invite to the family picnics.

    I voted “No!” to Kale!! Bwaaahahahahaa!! Ok, mostly just because I’ve never had it before, and I don’t like the guilt trip of being told about healthy foods that would prolong my life by a ba-zillion years if only I’d eat it, already. lol 😉

    I’m not a big fan of Kale…but I do not mind it when I add it to a fruit and veggie smoothie! I use more blueberries and then you can’t even taste the Kale! 😛
