I’ve shared with you a few times on how I’m such a fan of Big Fish Games and I’m excited to share with you their latest release – Sunken Secrets, which is now available from iTunes for free!
I’ve long been a fan of sim games but Sunken Secrets takes it to the next level, when it adds MAGIC!
Sunken Secrets opens with a sensational storyline where the player is dropped right in the middle of a battle between good and evil. You are first introduced to a sea witch who has taken over an island and quite literally submerged it underwater. It is up to the player to follow Princess Luisa around, gather magic, use this magic to de-curse the island, and raise the land that was submerged. While cooking, farming, and resource collection certainly are a staple to the game, Sunken Secrets heightens in audience appeal because there is always something to do in the game. There is island-hopping, jewelry creation, marketplaces for buying and selling goods, and pandas and wizards roam freely.
I downloaded Sunken Secrets to my iPhone AND iPad a few weeks ago and I’ve been playing as often as I can. I’ve played traditional farming sim games before but it can get boring after awhile. With Sunken Secrets, so much more is added to the game. I love that the element of magic has been added but I really love the story that you follow with your little villagers. I mean, I HAVE to save them from the evil Sea Witch!
I love that when I connect through Facebook, I can find other friends who are playing Sunken Secrets too and visit their islands. The social aspect to Big Fish Games is always so great. Checking in daily is worth it as you’ll receive daily rewards. You’ll love catching the special reward balloons and collecting pearls and coins. Do all this and you can banish the Kraken and defeat the Sea Witch – hopefully!

That game sounds so fun. It’s one of those games I would end up totally getting addicted to 🙂
I love how colorful the graphics are for this game. I think it would be very easy to get caught up playing it. Might be a great option for long car rides for the kids 😉 Thanks for sharing.

We love games and this one looks fabulous. It’s cool that there is a female protagonist. (and a Princess to boot) and a female villain. My daughter, who adores Sofia the First will really appreciate this game.
