My husband doesn’t wear ties to work. But in the last month, we have had a good number of tie-worthy events: weddings, business dinners and a charity auction. And my man went in style with a tie from Necktie Emporium.
The beautiful Mens Silk Woven Dark Goldenrod Stripe Pattern Tie is created from handmade 100% silk. It is definitely of high quality. The silk was cut on the bias which keeps it from twisting and turning and is free from runs or stray threads. The tie fabric is nicely attached to the backing with no visible stitching. Once tied it drapes nicely, not too stiff and no wrinkles. The tie is 59” long so you can even tie a double Windsor knot.
Neck Tie Emporium has a wonderful selection of patterned, solid and striped ties. Their woven silk ties are perfect for any classy, elegant occasion. And if bow ties are more your style, Necktie Emporium has you covered there too! You can choose between clip-on and traditional ties. They also have Father and Son matching ties! How cute would that be? Just in case you need some assistance with the art of tying, Necktie Emporium has illustrated instructions for a four-in-hand on their site. The clips from NecktieEmporium.com are patented and also come with a lifetime guarantee.
Another offering from NecktieEmporium.com is the zipper tie. I hadn’t ever heard of one before but it is exactly what it sounds like. The tie comes pre-tied and on the backside of the neck is a zipper. The zipper goes through the knot and down the skinny side of the tie. After slipping the tie over your head you just zip it up to fit. A perfect knot every time in 10 seconds!
The Mens Silk Woven Brown/White/Blue Stripe Tie is very beautiful:

This is an interesting post to me! I am clueless about the tie stuff and everyone expects me to know about it! ha! i am your newest follower..pls follow back if you can!
I’m so conflicted about things like this. On one hand it’s nice to have a quick easy way to wear a tie, on the other I find clip on and zipper ties part of the dumbing down of America. It’s FABULOUS, for men with disabilities that perhaps have a problem with their hands, and you’ve shown really lovely patterns and colors that they offer.
But IMHO, for any able bodied man, just learn how to tie a tie! Has our culture really degraded to such laziness that a man can’t learn something new at any age? As you’ve shown even Neck Tie Emporium has instructions, and there are hundreds of YouTube Videos to help you through several tying styles. My son (age 16) recently went to a funeral, and he was the ONLY man there that could tie his own tie. He came back with a story about how impressed and amazing many of the adult men were that he loosened his tie and they saw it wasn’t a clip on. One of theme even had a tie on a rubber band!! No, no it’s not a clip on, and hasn’t been one since my son was about 10.
I know that we live in an instant and laid back society, but should it really be impressive if a guy can tie a tie? Shouldn’t it just be one of those things that every man knows as he comes of age?
I’m always looking for new places to find great ties, thanks for the link! We’ll be sticking with the traditional ones. ;D
I do think it’s strange that more people don’t know how to tie them. But, a lot of people do not go places on a regular basis where ties are worn, I guess! My husband says that he will do a good job teaching our son how to tie his tie correctly. It’s an art that is becoming more obsolete.
