Our weekends always seem to be so busy – no sleeping in and lounging around the house! My kids like to get up early and then the day is started with early baseball games, running around doing errands, usually something fun we do as a family like going to the Zoo and then of course, those boring things like laundry.
Since we are always on the go during our weekends, we usually stop for lunch as a family. One of our favorite places to stop is SUBWAY® Restaurants because there’s something for the whole family to enjoy. My husband and I love the sandwiches while the kids love the pizza! It’s always great to eat at the restaurant or bring it with us to the park. Thanks to SocialMoms and SUBWAY®, I’m able to share a little bit more with you on how they are doing good for your city!
I’m especially inclined to shop and eat at places that DO GOOD. And SUBWAY® is doing good! SUBWAY® Restaurants located in both USA & Canada are joining forces with several charities to give back to the local community. From now through August 31st, more than 7,800 local SUBWAY® Restaurants across the US and Canada are participating in the “You Share. We Share.” campaign to help support different charities.
The “You Share. We Share” campaign encourages the community to get out and share their weekends with SUBWAY® Restaurants, and SUBWAY® Restaurants in the St. Louis area will share right back by donating a percentage of weekend sales, up to $50,000, directly to a local charity in need. As locally owned and operated franchises, SUBWAY® Restaurants is excited to be able to further its commitment to the local community.
Here in St. Louis, SUBWAY® Restaurants is donating to , an organization that does so much for our community! Operation Food Search feeds approximately 190,000 people in St. Louis every single month and about a third of these recipients are children. You can volunteer and donate to help Operation Food Search yourself but I love that by doing something simple like eating at SUBWAY® Restaurants during the weekends you can help your local charity too.

We love Subway in our house. We are there at least once a week.
