EatSmart Precision GetFit Digital Body Fat Scale Review & Giveaway!

I’ve had my EatSmart Precision GetFit for about a month. It is by far the greatest scale I’ve owned. I’ve had several digitals previously and they always required calibration. Most recently I used an old-fashioned dial scale but found the weights inconsistent. The EatSmart “Step-On” technology featured in the GetFit means no more stepping on a corner and waiting around. It is really instant! And it weighs consistently!

That’s not even the best part. Are you ready? Okay, this might be unnecessary build-up considering the name gives the best part away. This scale measures your body fat and muscle mass percentages! I’ve used body fat calipers and charts to get the same numbers. They take time and calipers require training and practice to be even close to accurate. The GetFit gets the job done in a few quick seconds. EatSmart provides some great tips in the manual about how to get the most accurate weight, body fat and muscles mass measurements. The trick is to get your weight in the morning, body fat and muscle mass in the evening. No big deal, right?

EatSmart really makes it easy. The scale requires 4 AAA batteries and they are included. Once I unboxed the scale it took about a minute to program in my user profile. One minute later I had all my numbers! I really like this scale because every time I start on another workout and nutrition plan I see my weight go up. Even though I know muscle weighs more than fat it is still super frustrating. The GetFit cured me of that problem. This time I still saw the weight go up but I also saw my body fat going down and my muscle mass going up. This positive feedback makes it way easier to stay committed to my plan. And I use the total body water measurement to know when I’m not staying hydrated which is integral to being healthy.
