Elmer’s Craft Camp Giveaway!

Have you been to Elmers.com? If you are the crafty type or if you have kids, you need to go there RIGHT NOW! Elmer’s has pages devoted to: projects for Crafters, projects for Teachers to use in their classrooms, and projects for you to use as Parents with your kids! It has a fantastic search function to allow you to find something in your child’s age group, or for a specific occasion or you can even search by level of difficulty! If I have bored kids, I know where I’m looking for ideas!

 

We were sent this amazing Elmer’s Kid Craft Camp Kit:

I knew that Elmer’s made glue, but I had no idea that they made ALL of these other fun products! I couldn’t wait to get started on my Craft Camp! I invited 4 little creative kids over and let them go wild!An oversize card using a Mini Bi-fold Foam Board for the Grandparents:

And a 3 year old’s version of outer space! We used this idea from the Elmer’s website and they had a great time performing silly plays for the whole family!

Another great idea from Elmers.com was this Chore Chart:

And when the kids went to sleep I got to play too! I made greeting cards using Craftbond Permanent Tape Runner, X-Acto Zigzag and Scallop scissors and then colored them with the awesome Craftbond Gel Pens!

    Sadly the projects start at age 5 and are a bit much for my 2 year old, but I’m sure that we can come up with some fun projects to make with the craft kit!!

    I would make the jingle bell beach ball. I work with a young child with multiple learning challenges including sensory and vision issues. This would be a wonderful activity to do with him.
