iPhone Review: Eric Carle’s My Very First App

One of Hayden’s favorite iPhone games and one of the first games we ever downloaded is Peekaboo Barn. 

 

 

I reviewed the game back in May and was so excited when Night and Day Studios let me a host a giveaway giving away copies of Peekaboo Barn and Peekaboo Wild!

I was so excited to be contacted by Erin of Night & Day Studios where she asked me to review their latest app which is My Very First App-Based on the work of Eric Carle!

 

 

My Very First App is a great app because it grows with your child!

 

There are 3 stages of play for the app.

Easy (Ages 1-3), Medium (Ages 3-5) and Hard (Ages 3 and up).

 

Hayden loves playing with the Easy Mode. 

The screen is divided in two. The top is colors and the bottom are different images. You swipe the top or the bottom until you find a match! Hayden loved matching the color yellow to the picture of lemons or the color red to the picture of the firefighter. Then, the app would say out loud when he matched it. 

 

The Medium and Hard level are like Memory, which Hayden is starting to love.

For the Medium mode, the cards are face down and you have to match colors.

It’s easy enough for a toddler to start getting it.
 

For the Hard mode, the cards are face down and you have to match the color to the object that is the same color.

(Example: Brown to the Brown Boot)

Hayden just loves this app so much and every day he is getting better and better at matching!

The app is only 99 cents in the iTunes store and well worth it!

If you want to add more content like Shapes, Numbers, Food or Animals you can do so for 99 cents each!
