A few days ago, I had the chance to attend the world premiere of Cars 3, which is in theaters on Friday, June 16th! I can’t stop thinking about my amazing experience and wanted to share it all with you!
As soon as we walked in, you could tell it was going to be a fun experience. There were jugglers, people walking around on stilts , Cars tattoos, and of course a life size Lightning McQueen, Cruz Ramirez and Jackson Storm!

It was so fun spotting different celebrities on the red carpet like Owen Wilson, Larry the Cable Guy, Nathan Fillion, Kerry Washington and Armie Hammer!

After walking the red carpet and getting a ton of fun photos, we headed in to watch Cars 3! This was my second time being able to see the movie and it didn’t disappoint. I loved that I was able to see it again (and I plan on seeing it this weekend with my family!) and catch more things in different scenes.
Cars 3 Party in Carsland
After the movie was over, we took trams over to Carsland in Disney California Adventure. This was my first time there so I was in awe of the theme of Carsland. I felt like I was actually walking around Radiator Springs!
In addition to all of the rides being open in Carsland, you could also order food from places like the Cozy Cone Motel and Flo’sV-8 Cafe. I had to try the famous churro and the Bacon Mac and Cheese in a Cone. Yes, that’s right – in a bread cone!!
Of course, we had to ride some rides too. I absolutely loved the Radiator Springs Racers ride so much, we had to ride it twice! My son asked me to take a video while on the ride, so even though it was at night, I got some video of the ride that you can watch below!
We weren’t the only ones having fun on this ride. As we pulled up after riding, we saw Owen Wilson getting on the ride! We had interviewed him earlier that day and he told us this was his FIRST time actually riding Radiator Springs Racers!

I also had the chance to snap a photo with a few celebrities, which was so fun! Everyone was so nice.

A fun story about my photo with Lea DeLaria (voice of Miss Fritter in Cars 3) and Samira Wiley (from Orange is the New Black!) is that I asked for a photo and we did one and then Samira told Lea that I should take another one with them kissing my cheek – SO fun!!

World of Color
We ended the night by getting a private viewing of World of Color (watch the live video here over on Disney Food Blog!). This was my first time seeing it and it didn’t disappoint. It was really an amazing way to end an already incredible evening!
Cars 3 in Theaters June 16th
Cars 3 races into theaters THIS Friday, June 16th! You’ll want to bring the whole family because I know that kids – and adults – of all ages will love it.
