My favorite time of year is here – I just LOVE fall! It’s a combination of the cooler temperatures, falling leaves, crock pot meals, fire pits and so much more! I also absolutely love decorating my house for fall because there’s so much to do. I usually start off decorating the house for fall and then start to add Halloween decorations in mid-October. Here are some easy ways to bring Fall into your house!
Fall Wreath
I go through my front door everyday and even though it’s on the outside, I love getting a fall wreath for my door. It makes me smile and is an easy and simple way to bring Fall to your house. You’ll be able to find some in-store or you can even try and DIY a fall wreath!
Candles
As soon as the weather starts cooling off, I break out my fall candles. I love the scents of pumpkin spice and apples throughout my house with the cool breeze coming through! I try to put a different scent in each room but apples are my favorite for the kitchen.
Fresh Flowers
Nothing is more fall than bringing those fall colors and fresh flowers IN to the house! Flowers for Everyone can deliver autumn right to your door where you can place them on your mantle or on you kitchen table to bring the season indoors!
Table Decor
Besides adding fresh flowers to your table, you can add fall decor in the form of a fall table runner with a bowl full of real pumpkins, squash and gourds. You’ll love seeing those fall staples on your table and they can be carried over into Thanksgiving too.
Fall Bunting
My latest obsession is bunting for each season and holiday. There’s lots of great fall bunting available on Etsy or you can attempt to DIY! I love adding this to my mantel or hanging from my windows so it lays right in front of my curtains. It definitely adds a pop of fall into your house.
There are SO any fun ways to bring fall into your house! What are your favorite ways to decorate the house for fall?
My name is Conor Barry and I’m a St. Louis children’s book author.
I’ve just launched my new book on Kickstarter.
It’s called “Don’t Feed Your Pets Weird Stuff” and it’s a wildly funny, poetic book that helps kids learn about the dangers of feeding their pets strange things.
Below is a link to the book’s Kickstarter page:

I hope you like it! Thank you so much for your time!
