Fall is definitely here and one of my favorite Holidays is approaching – Thanksgiving! I love spending time with my family, but I also love the food. One of my favorite desserts for Thanksgiving is Pumpkin Pie! I have to admit though, I’ve been craving it since early last month! I think you’ll love to make this super easy pumpkin pie recipe!
Ingredients
- 1 Can of Pumpkin Puree
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- ¾ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
- 2 eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 -9 inch unbaked pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Mix pumpkin, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves until well combined.
- Add eggs, evaporated milk, and heavy cream. Mix everything until completely smooth.
- Pour pie filling into an unbaked deep dish pie shell.
- Bake the pie for 15 minutes then reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees. Bake for an additional 50-55 minutes until the center of the pie is not loose.
- Chill it in the refrigerator before serving.
- Serve with whipped cream!

So I definitely didn’t try Pumpkin Pie until last year. It always seemed weird to me and my hubby finally forced me to eat it. DELICIOUS! I can’t wait to make my own this year for Thanksgiving!

Never added heavy cream to my pumpkin pie, need to try your recipe. I have a recipe with sour cream that I really like and it has ginger.
