Quick… what does the word “beautiful” mean to you? Beauty comes in so many different forms. You can find it on the outside of a person and on the inside as well. It can describe a feeling or even how a person lives their life.
I have two daughters and it’s important to me to teach them these things, it’s a legacy I want to hand down. I want them to feel beautiful as they make an unbelievable outfield catch, as they walk across the stage to get their diploma and as they look at themselves in the mirror in the morning, crazy bed head hair and all!
This world can give us so many unattainable goals and negative feelings about ourselves, I want my daughters (and my son) to never question their beauty. Kids learn by example. These little people, they are who I feel beautiful for!
Dove has created an amazing movement that so far has reached over 14 million girls. They are working to help build self-esteem in girls. And they are inviting us to share in this goal, to reach even more girls! Check out what other fellow women are sharing about the beauty legacies they are working to create on the Dove page of the Walmart website. Read about some great deals on Dove products while you’re there!
And now it’s your turn! Share what you want your beauty legacy to be. Use the hashtag #feelbeautifulfor to share on your social channels. Besides helping to build self esteem and confidence of the girls in your life, you have the chance to encourage others to find what makes them beautiful! You can do your part to spread the message!
