I’m working with Tilex® on a paid basis, but my opinions are my own.
Want to hear a dirty little secret? I’ve got mold. Cue the gasps! But you know what? So do you. 100% of houses in the United States have mold. It’s just something you can’t avoid BUT thanks to , I can disinfect and kill up to 99.9% of household mold and mildew in my bathroom.
Until we an build an additional bathroom in our house, we have five people sharing one bathroom. True, two of those people are one year old babies, but we still have five people getting clean in our tub and shower. While I try to keep the tub as clean as possible, mold happens. We recently went out of town for a few days and when we came back, there was mold in the tub. That’s because mold can grow in as little as 48 hours with the right conditions. Mold just needs a moist, room temperature environment and an organic food source to grow on. Yup, you guessed it – the bathroom!
Mold or Mildew will show up on your bathroom surfaces as patches of black, green, pink or red stains. When you see that, it’s time to get out the Tilex® Mold and Mildew Remover. Check out my gross before picture of our tub after being out of town.
YUCK! It’s now easy to get rid of it because Tilex® Mold and Mildew Remover contains Clorox® Bleach and can disinfect as it kills 99.9% of household mold and mildew. Best of all, there is NO scrubbing required! All you have to do is spray it, let is sit for 5 minutes and then just rinse away.
Tilex® Mold and Mildew Remover can be used on bathroom surfaces such as glazed ceramic tile, grout, tubs, fiberglass, glass shower doors, vinyl curtains, sinks and no-wax floors! It’s a MUST for any bathroom cleaning collection. It took care of my dirty little secret in just minutes.
WHOA! What a difference! I was amazed how much Tilex® Mold and Mildew Remover was able to get up in my tub. If you have really tough mildew and mold, you’ll want to try Tilex® Mildew Root™ Penetrator and Remover. which penetrates deep to kill mildew at its roots and removes ugly stains without scrubbing, using powerful foaming action.
I’m so glad that I have Tilex® Mold and Mildew Remover in my cleaning arsenal. Soap and detergents are not enough to kill mold, even though they may remove mold stains. Mold can regrow quickly after being”cleaned” with soap and water. So make sure to buy !

Mold is so detrimental to our health and you are right, can be found in every home… not always in the most obvious places but it’s there… I’m going to give this a try in my bathroom and my washer… I love my eco friendly washer but try as I may to keep it clean it gets mold in the folds of the seal every now and then. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome. LOVE your gloves! Super cute. I need to invest in some. 😉 Maybe it will motivate me to clean more. Oh how I detest MOLD and LOVE Tilex. 🙂
Ugh. Why is it with a bigger family, my mold and mildew problem has also gotten bigger? I hate cleaning it, but have to stay up on it. Thank goodness for the tough stuff like Tilex.
You are too cute <3 I kinda want to steal your adorable gloves. I have the ugly plastic-y yellow ones.
We have some weird kind of pink slime that grows in our bathroom. I have found that a mixture of Dawn and vinegar usually do the trick. I need to try Tilex to see if it will finish off the remaining slime.
I am going to have to try the Tilex. We live in a really old house and I find mold in the oddest places.
I love Tilex! And oh my do I love those gloves! Great pics!
I have not tried this yet but I need to. Love your cleaning gloves.
Tilex is the best at what it does. There’s no question about it. I LOVE it!
Living here in the humid south, we are constantly fighting mold and mildew. I use Tilex constantly. Cute gloves!
Add 4 ounces of tri-sodium phosphate which is commonly known.
Apply it on the cleaned surfaces of the bathroom, let it stand for 15 minutes and then wash off with sufficient amount of water.
Come to think of it, vinegar is specifically made for cooking and
flavoring, not for molds.
