Frito-Lay and Activision Team Up: Vote for the Next Skylander!

It’s hard to put into words just exactly HOW much my son loves Skylanders. It can be all-consuming sometimes as he quizzes me on different characters or has me quiz him on which elements a character is. It’s honestly been the best investment we have made as he plays with the figures opening up his imagination AND plays the video game. Whenever I hear new Skylander news, I’m all about it too!

Earlier this year, Frito-Lay and Activision announced a contest where you could NAME the next Skylander that will be a part off the next game that’s coming out in October.

Frito-Lay and Activision announced the three finalists this week, and through June 13, everyone can vote for their favorite by visiting www.fritolay.com/skylanders. In addition to naming the new character, the lucky winner will also receive a $100,000 scholarship.

To celebrate the upcoming Skylanders game, Frito-Lay is also offering additional savings found on select Skylanders products through specially marked Frito-Lay 20-pack variety bags in stores around the country.

My son and I headed over to vote and while I wanted to put in a vote for Flip Wreck, Hayden wanted me to vote for Bat Spin – he is hoping that she wins the contest! I love that you can read the back story of each character. This is such a fun contest!
