Ingredients:
- 5 Tablespoons room temp salted butter
- 2 Cups white flour
- 1 Tablespoon baking powder
- 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
- Whipping cream
- Mini green M&M’s
Directions:
Put butter in a large mixing bowl. Cut butter into smaller slices to make it easier to mix into the dry ingredients.
In a separate bowl add flour, baking powder and sugar. Sift until well combined. Add dry ingredients to butter and mix on medium speed until well incorporated.
Slowly add whipping cream while mixing until moistened-to a consistency a little stiffer than play-doh.
Separate dough into two equal parts. Turn one part of dough onto slightly floured surface and add M&M’s. Don’t knead too much or the color will start to bleed onto the dough. Roll dough out into a 3/4 inch thick round. Cut into 8 wedges, and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes at 375 degrees, until edges around the bottoms of the scones brown slightly.
The scones will be nice and sweet with the M&M’s, but you could add a bit of powder sugar glaze to the top. Enjoy!

I love a good easy recipe that I can make with things I have in the house. You could use green sugar sprinkles too.
