Even though summer is winding down, the temperatures haven’t. It’s been over 100 degrees the last few days which means that we are staying inside. I recently cleaned out my fridge on one of those hot days and then put the trash outside under our carport in a trash can. Somehow, there must have been a crack in the trash can. Combine that with the heat and I happened upon something really gross when I walked outside.
Yuck, right? There were ants EVERYWHERE on our driveway. I immediately had to run in and grab my Hot Shot® Ant & Roach Plus Germ Killer since it kills on contact and would keep them away too. I sprayed alongside the base of my house too because no way do I want bugs to feel like they are at home!
I washed off our car port and then when I checked the next day, there were no more ants on our car port. Stay away, little ants! The only ants that I want to see in my house are these Ants on a Log!
Summer is so bad for those unwanted guests but luckily is there to help my family out!

I have not used Hot Shot before. We have gotten ants on an occasion or two but we get bees a lot. I will have to try this.
I always use this brand to get rid of bugs at my house. It is awful to get wasps nests. I make sure to keep up with getting rid of the wasps every year by spraying the areas where they have a nest and getting rid of them.
